The format that defined four years
Between 2020 and 2024 Bhattacharya held the chief spokesperson's brief for the BJP's West Bengal unit. The press conference was, for that period, his principal public setting — the place where the state party's position was formally stated, several times a week, in Bengali and in English.
He has continued in the format since July 2025 in a different capacity: as state president, speaking for the organisation rather than for its message alone.

Why these frames are not cropped
Photographs on this site are rendered at their own aspect ratios rather than forced into a uniform grid. A portrait stays a portrait; a wide frame stays wide. Nothing is trimmed at the top, the chin or the sides to make a row line up, and no image is stretched.
The consequence is that the columns below do not share a baseline — which is the intended result, not an oversight.
